GTX 345 ADS-B In&OUT
The GTX 345 Transponder is the all-in-one ADS-B unit built with Bluetooth technology for connecting to Garmin Pilot or ForeFlight mobile app for displaying traffic and weather with its ADS-B in capability. The GTX 345 transponder has a built-in AHRS feature that is calibrated during installation. This AHRS data is displayed when connected to Garmin Pilot or ForeFlight.
This transponder does require GPS/WAAS position source from an on-board navigator. Optionally, you can buy the GTX 345 transponder with built-in GPS/WAAS capability; built-in GPS/WAAS units require a WAAS antenna that is externally mounted on the aircraft.
